Renting a bike is easy in most Southeast Asian countries. You can find places on the streets, and even the youth hostels will rent. In some countries do not you ask a driver’s license, but in others, like Malaysia, may be required.
The first step is to learn to ride a motorcycle. Small bikes rent for tourists in general are easy to use, especially automatics. By contrast, the manuals may require some preparation.
