Halfway we deviate from the path to walk around the town of Wichita Falls . And toward the 16 hours we reached Amarillo and decided to stay and the motel to rest, to prepare future conferences via Internet and contacting family and friends.
Throughout the tour of Texas are many flags of Texas, unlike many other states, which clearly dominates the American flag. Both teach in Texas are on par.
Amarillo is located northwest Texas, near New Mexico. The city has about 200.000 inhabitants, and named for the yellow color of the shores of nearby Lake Amarillo.
Center livestock market in the late nineteenth century, large farms are spread throughout the Amarillo area. The city of Amarillo was once the self-proclaimed World Capital of helium as the center of one of the most productive helium. The city was also called as the Yellow Rose of Texas.
Some of the most remarkable sights are the Cadillac Ranch and the Texan Steak Ranch Great (specializing in steaks 2 kilos, which are free if you consume less than one hour), which are located on the famous Route 66 , which runs through the city.
Also, near the city is also the Palo Duro Canyon, a nature park we visit the next day.
