Italian tourists have chosen Barcelona as a top tourist destination foreign for the bridge of the Immaculate Conception ahead of Prague, as reported on Monday by Turisme de Barcelona in a statement.
According to the latest report of the company’s travel and leisure lastminute.com which has analyzed Turisme de Barcelona, the Italians are the third nationality that has most increased its spending in the Catalan capital in October, surpassed only by China and Russia.
Barcelona heads this year the ranking of favorite destinations for this bridge to the Italians, ahead of Prague – city preferred in 2010 – and to Berlin, Madrid and Amsterdam.
The study reflects that 51.6% of visitors from Italy, 47.4% visit Barcelona for the second time and that the duration of the trip has increased half a point with respect to the year 2010, from 3.5 to 4 days on average during the bridge of December 8.
