Wonders of the coast
Travel back in time to the City of St. Mary by the Bay, an early settlement of Maryland (1634), and meet a living history museum that displays a mirror of the original capital of the state, running a plantation and guides dress of the period.
Learn more about the Chesapeake Bay in Calvert Marine Museum, located near an old lighthouse at the fishing center and shipyard in Solomons in Southern Maryland.
Perform a 20-minute ride by ferry to Bellevue / Oxford between the two charming towns of St. Michaels and Oxford, on the eastern shore of Maryland.
Winelands
Not hard to find a glass, a bottle or striking winery in the rolling hills of the capital region. Maryland has about 20 vineyards that produce more than 180 different varieties of wine. Most are located in the central region of the state, stretching from the foothills west of Frederick to Cape Chesapeake Bay north of Baltimore, but others are located in southern Maryland, in the mountains of western and Peninsula’s east coast.

Another exciting destination is Ocean City, the number one family destination on the east coast, where the beach, the seafront promenade, minigolf Bay and entertainment from the coast are concentrated in a short stretch of coastal highway ( Coastal Highway). Nearby is the Frontier Town Western Theme Park Maryland (Maryland Frontier Town Western Theme Park), back near the capital of our country, the new Adventure Park of the United States (Adventure Park USA) also presented an issue of the Far West (as well as go-karts, paintball, laser combat and bumper boats). Later, in Baltimore, get splashed by the dolphins at the National Aquarium (National Aquarium) or let your imagination run wild at Port Discovery, one of the top five children’s museums, according to Child magazine.
