HanoverHanover is the capital of Lower Saxony in north central Germany. it is a city that has gained remarkable prominence in 2000 for her place in the last World Exposition of the millennium.

This thriving city of commerce and vibrant cultural life has half a million inhabitants and a dynamic aspect of anything reminiscent of dark days of World War II, when all the central part was flattened.

Museums
The city of Hanover is an open-air museum, where the beautiful sculptures abound, including modern and colorful Nanas.
Kestner-Museum: Abundant ancient coins, works of ancient Egypt and Rome and interesting items of decorative art. And crafts from the Middle Ages to today.

Sprengel Museum: fine paintings of the twentieth century: Picasso, Leger, Klee, Kandinsky, Kokoschka, etc. It is one of the best in the world in the twentieth century art.

Landesmuseum Niedersächsisches: excellent collection of remains of primitive civilizations of the territory, and Renaissance paintings of primitive Germans (Holbein, Cranach), as well as Flemish and Italian painting, until the eighteenth. It also has later painting, mainly German.

Hanover retains traditional details in a modern environment.

Hanover is famous for its trade fairs. It also has a reputation as a congress city. In 2000, hosts the World Expo.
