Baltimore, Maryland is a dynamic city located along the shores of Chesapeake Bay, about 180 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. This is an important tourist destination in the middle Atlantic region of the United States near Washington; D. C. named after Lord Baltimore in the Irish House of Lords, the city has a thriving population of more than 650,000 with a rich cultural heritage.

Spanning over an area of 80.8 square miles, the city is a perfect blend of old with the new. Some ethnic neighborhoods have been restored in modern shopping and dining local but they still retain the old character.

The main tourist attraction is the inner harbor. This historic seaport is a landmark and iconic perfect blend of old with new. The view of the dock is just amazing and the docks and streets surrounding the inner harbor houses hotels, museums, restaurants, shops and entertainment. The new port is now inside the home, an entertainment center and the National Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in the world. Port Discovery Children’s Museum and the World Trade Center in Baltimore are also located around the pool.

Baltimore is famous for its remarkable seafood from the nearby Chesapeake Bay blue crabs come, oysters, striped bass and other delicacies. Other Maryland seafood is the Atlantic coast, including sea scallops, lobster, sea bass and other fish.
