You can go to Baltimore by car from New York City or Philadelphia, take Interstate 95 south. It is only four hours from New York City and two hours from Philadelphia. From Washington D.C. Travel by car is less than an hour north on Highway 95, or a little longer if you take the Baltimore Washington Parkway or an old route.

George Washington is considered the “Father of the Nation” in the U.S., a title he won thanks to his leadership in the cause of American independence.
